The most common worry I hear from writers is that modifying their work will make them sound less creative or professional, or that they'll lose the unique siren song of their authorial voice. These are very valid concerns, so let me be perfectly clear: you do not have to completely change how you write to overcome the problem we're here to solve. In fact, unless you are really just an awful writer, which I highly doubt, I forbid it. What you do have to do is ensure your writing is recognised for what it is: yours. And this guide will help get you there.
